Holy Cow Ice Cream Shop in Anna Maria Island

Their menu was very confusing. The amount of ice cream served to each of us was inconsistent. I ordered a pumpkin pie ice cream and there was no pumpkin pie, only crust.

I think that they are a little prices on the shakes

10/10 would NOT recommend, rude entitled owner who cannot take constructive criticism, slow and rude staff.

The best damn ice cream in town.

Excellent ice cream. I had the raspberry truffle! Black Raspberries, much better than red. Service not great. Not sure of the experience level of the workers.

Personally I actually thought the food was pretty good. The ice cream was way beyond incredible.. The owner seems like a good dude, or at least friendly, and has great customer service. Their are multiple deserts/treats to decide from, not only just ice cream!! Theirs pie, brownies, cookies, as well as actual food. Such as Cheese Burgers, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Chilli Dogs, an a few other things. The prices were just a tiny bit pricey considering on the sizes of the portions.. That's the only reason I'm giving the Holy 🐄 a 4 ⭐ rating... I think he should reconsider the portion sizes, and make them a little bigger, an a little less pricey.. But other than that, it's a great little spot to eat at.. Also it does have a little outside dine-in area, so you can eat their if you'd like...

My wife and i just happened upon this place today 8/15/20 around 1:30 or 2:00pm. We live in Seneca Ks. I did not get the girls name, however she made my wife a toasted roast beef sandwich and a rasberry truffle shake and i had a BLT with a peach cobbler shake. The shakes were great but sandwiches were out of this world. The bacon was amazing and the roast beef was so tender. The young lady made to great sandwiches. I highly recommend the Holy Cow Creamery to everyone who wants simple but good. Cant wait to go back soon.

Great service reasonable prices, very Friendly. 7 bikes 9 people went up for icecream helped us laughed and treated us all like we were friends. Highly recommend this place.

Best Icecream in Town and the “warm” waffle cones are out of this world! I think “Holy Cow” is a befitting name for this “Heavenly” place. 🍦🍧🍨🥧

Came to st joe to see some family and we went there to get some ice cream the guy behind the counter was friendly...but their prices are a little expensive but if u are looking for ice cream and outdoor seating I recommend!!

Open just twelve hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (during the winter), Holy Cow Creamery offers smooth, delicate full flavored cold and hot treats. Don't write off ice cream on a cold night. Especially when it's from Holy Cow.

Took my grandson there last week for the first time very friendly...

We tried the cinnamon ice cream and the peanut butter / chocolate. The price was good, but the serving sizes were very small. A medium was about the size of a small scoop of ice cream in most other places. The flavor of the cinnamon ice cream was excellent, but the texture was icy. The hot fudge was very good. The peanut butter / chocolate was not good. I tasted a "burnt" tone to it, though I don't know why. I love the variety of flavors, but I would be willing to pay a bit more for more generous serving sizes. I guess if we go back, I'll stick to the large sizes.

A little pricey, but overall very good. Fresh made waffle bowls, really yummy ice cream, and timely service. 👍We will be going back for special occasions I think.

The owner, or whoever handles their social media, attacked a customer via private messaging. Along with being unnecessarily rude - they resorted to calling one of their customers a "schizophrenic crackhead" instead of taking criticism with grace. It seems as though this business does not know how to handle customer service properly - stay away from Holy Cow Creamery.

Very disorganized. Had to ask about special and they did not know the difference between roast beef and roast beef dinner. Meat was very tough. Could not cut with plastic silverware. Charged for water. First and last time. Poor service, inform people you charge for cups. Your employee said you charge for water. The place sucks.

Very disappointed in the recent social media posts I’ve seen about the owner 😔 unfortunately he’s been treating customers and employees like garbage. It’s sad because the ice cream is pretty good, but I won’t support a business that calls people names and belittles others.

I don't understand the pricey reviews this place is reasonably priced and I don't see other places in the area making your waffle cone right there with their own batter. Cone was crispy and light reminding me of a pizzelle cookie! Great ice cream Great service!

Delicious, cheap, courteous! Everything you want in your local Ice Cream Shop. Plus their lunch and dinner specials can't be beat!

Dirty....nasty food...ice cream is old and disgusting! Workers are the worst! Won't ever comeback to this place again! A total waste period!!

I had a bad experience bad customer service no greeting nothing they were very rude and didn’t even give me what I ask for when I tell them they had a whole attitude and they wasn’t even wearing gloves while scooping the ice cream Will never get my business again

They have lots of home cooked food. They even have steak.. they do have lots of ice cream as well. And they are open year round. Great employees.

They don’t know how to treat a lot of their customers idk what the attitude is seems like they are very ignorant and immature I won’t be recommending this place!!

Didn't really understand why the single scoop in a cup was bigger than the double scoop I ordered but the flavor of the ice cream was great and the 2 employees were very nice and helpful.

Best icecream around. There toaster sandwiches are great. BLT can't be beat. Daily plate lunch special for just $7.00.

This place has REALLYYYY good food.!! And the service is decent, if you havent tried The Holy Cow Creamery, its WAYY past time for you to stop in there and eat.!! Try the roast beef.!!

Stood there for 8 mins while a large portion of that time the guy was talking to someone in back. He took my order then said "that will be a little while, I have some online orders I need to get done" I just said, never mind and walked off. Maybe if they are that busy another person should be hired or the person in back could come up and help him.

Good icecream. Only critique I have is that the menu is too big and hard to follow.

Based off of the replies to these reviews and all the stories I have read, also the nasty message the owner sent to someone based off of their experience I will never order from this business. Very rude and unprofessional

Saw this place while driving by, finally got the chance to stop one day...boy, was that worth it! They serve REAL ice cream, numerous flavors, ALL DELICIOUS! They also serve other foods for meals. Their prices are very reasonable, they have daily specials and delivery is available too! Their website gives a greater view of what they offer, but it is fun to put in your order and enjoy eating your delicious food while sitting at a table on the covered patio and watching traffic/people. The guys that run the place are down to earth and nice, very friendly.

Holy cow is the best! It's a local small business that puts all big companies to shame. They have so many different flavors of ice cream and it doesn't just stop there, they actually have a menu. I have tried their cheeseburgers and it was so so so good!! One of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this place!!! They even make their waffle cones right there on the spot.
